Details of Higher Education Commission HEC Jobs<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Government of Pakistan established the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in 2007 under Article 245(2)(a) of the Constitution of Pakistan. It is responsible for providing quality education at all levels within the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jobs Positions<\/span><\/h3>\n

The government has announced that it will conduct a recruitment test for Assistant Professor, Associate professors, Lecturer, Reader, Senior Research fellows, Technical Officer, Project Managers, Principal Investigator, Program Coordinators, Data Entry Operator, Administrative Staff, etc. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned above may apply online through www.jobs.hec.gov.pk from 30th May 2022 to 18th April 2022 (extended).<\/span><\/p>\n

Eligibility requirements:<\/span><\/h2>\n

A candidate should fulfill minimum educational qualifications as per the following table-<\/span><\/p>\n

Educational Qualifications for the position of Assistant Professor :<\/strong><\/p>\n

You must have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution with a minimum average of 50%.<\/p>\n

Educational Qualifications for the position of Associate Professor :<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent qualification with 50% marks in aggregate with a minimum of 55% marks from the relevant Post-Graduate Council of University of Karachi or Faculty of the Science University of Agriculture Faisalabad \/ Islamic University Islamabad. The candidates from other Universities may also be accepted if they have obtained the requisite qualifications from their respective universities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Educational Qualities for the position of Lecturer :<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Master’s Degree in teaching with 50% marks or equivalent qualification.<\/span><\/p>\n

Qualifications for the post of Reader:<\/strong><\/p>\n

A doctoral degree from an accredited university.<\/p>\n

Educational Qualities For the Position of Senior Researcher:<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Candidate must possess Ph.D. with 60% marks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Educational Qualifications for the position of Principal Investigator :<\/strong><\/p>\n

A Candidate should be qualified as a Reader having 60% marks or more.<\/span><\/p>\n

Educational Requirements for the position of Program Coordinator:<\/strong><\/p>\n

A candidate should possess a Masters’s Degree in Computer Applications (MCA), Statistics (MSC), or Economics (SFE)\/ Information Technology (BIS) with a pass mark of 70%.<\/span><\/p>\n

Educational Qualifications for the position of Data Entry Operator:<\/strong><\/p>\n

An applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a pass mark of 65% or a BSc (Computer Science) from any recognized university.<\/span><\/p>\n

Educational Qualification for the position of Administrative Staff:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Should hold “Class III” certificate in English language and Maths subjects.<\/span><\/p>\n

Selection Process:<\/span><\/h3>\n
